The idea of being able to create something from a simple thought is incredible. I am able to communicate an idea in endless ways; there are no boundaries in art. Nothing is ever constant.
Ever mindful of the first line on a chosen piece of paper. A line can be a path, a direction, an intersection of space or a dividing line. Balancing space and creating dimensions is an attempt to keep your eyes moving. The challenge lies in balancing the intensity of colours juxtaposed against one another while invoking an emotion.
Colours emerge from personal experiences and challenges. Striving to create a sense of intrigue that invites the viewer to stop, look and interact with the work, establishing a rapport in the process. The images have their own stories and identities, ones that have never existed before, and they seek to form a relationship with the viewer.
To enter, journey through, connect, find comfort, discover new feelings, and carry them into tomorrow with optimism.
